1. There is no entry fee.
2. The processes have been systematically designed for the sake of the contestants\' rights and time.
Therefore, everything will be computerized and please REMEMBER TO PRINT YOUR ENTRY PERMISSION.
3. After finishing the sign-up process, every contestant has to print out the entry permission. Bringing the permission with your identification cards to attend the contest on 02/25. (No entry permission means you are not eligible for the competition.)

一、依據高市府民宗字 第112323110000號(函)辦理。
二、目的：為恭祝本宮 徐府千歲暨眾尊神聖誕千秋，並宏揚書法藝術以落實政府心靈改革，特舉辦書法比賽活動。
Objective: To promote and to preserve the traditional art of calligraphy.
三、指導單位：高雄市政府民政局、教育局、文化局、中華民國社區書法推動委員會

八、報名資格：凡對書法有興趣之在台外籍人士。(由學校推薦或自行報名)

九、報名方式：免費報名、一律採用網路報名。

十三、比賽用具：
Regulations of the competition:
（1）文具用品：宣紙由承辦單位提供，墨汁及筆硯自備。
Xuan paper will be provided by Tian Wen Temple. Bringing your own inks, pens and inkstone.
(2) 紙張規格：
Size of Chinese rice paper (Xuan paper):
(3) 書寫方式：以楷書為主，其他字體亦可，各組一律現場書寫，題目當場指定。
Any handwriting fonts are accepted. All groups will write on the contest, and the topic will be designated during contest session.
(4) 作品落款：按指定格式書寫，並且請寫國籍及中文姓名 (不宜寫英文或阿拉伯數字）。
Signature: Please sign your name in the specified format at the end of the artwork, together with your nationality and Chinese name (English and Arabic numerals are not accepted) (Following the sample signature above).
(5) 參賽作品：得獎人作品恕不退件，版權歸永安天文宮所有，並有刊印、展覽之權利。
All artwork entries submitted. The copyright belongs to Tian Wen Temple, and the organization has the right to print or exhibit these artworks.
十四、評定：由主辦單位聘請三位書法名家擔任評審。
本屆比賽特邀聘名書法家張炳煌教授擔任顧問暨評審團召集人。
（張炳煌教授：華視「每日一字」國字示範、現任中華民國書學會會長、國際書法聯盟理事長、淡江大學教授及兼任書法研究室主任）
Evaluation process: The evaluation committee will invite three experts as the panel of judges. (Dr. Ping-Huang Chang: a host of a TV program which was about “one Chinese character with ink and brush every day”, the chairman of the Republic of China Calligraphy Society, the head of the International Calligraphers Association, a professor in Tamkang University, and director of the Calligraphy Research Office.)
十五、組別、獎勵
十六、評審及成績公佈：Result announcements:
(1)成績公布日期: 比賽當日結束後，約2.5~3.5小時，公布成績。優選、佳作、入選得獎者，即進行領獎。前三名得獎者請留在現場﹐等待廣播通知領獎，並進行講評。
(1)字帖.字典，不可帶入會場。
(2)落款部分不可拿已書寫好的樣本，作墊底來複製書寫。
(3)不可利用畫有格子之紙張在宣紙下面當作品格局用。但可自行佈局畫線等等皆可。
(4)繳卷時，試題與書法作品及參賽證一併繳回。
(5)比賽途中如有問題、請舉手發言、不可任意走動、以避免影響他人書寫。

十九 、比賽當日規劃有歷屆比賽得獎作品展示，歡迎參觀與指導。
Winning works from previous competitions will be display on February 26th. Welcome your presence and guidance.
二十、比賽當日，本宮備有餐點免費供應。(餐點於指定用餐區使用,請勿於廟內使用)。
On the day of contest, we will provide free meals (meals are only used in the designated dining area).
二十一、凡組隊報名，實際參加比賽人數10人(含)以上者，帶隊指導老師，將由天文宮酌發禮劵或禮品以資獎勵。
For the group larger than 10 more people, the group leader and instructor will receive gift cards or other types of gifts as appreciation.
二十二、本辦法如有未盡事宜，得於比賽當日另行公佈之。
If there is any issued not covered in this regulation, we may be announced separately on the day of the contest.

十六、評審及成績公佈：Result announcements:
(1)成績公布日期: 比賽當日結束後，約2.5~3.5小時，公布成績。優選、佳作、入選得獎者，即進行領獎。前三名得獎者請留在現場﹐等待廣播通知領獎，並進行講評。
The final results of the competition will be announced at 16:00 on February 25th. All winners can receive rewards immediately. The first three-prize winners should stay at Tian Wen Temple and wait for attending award ceremony.
十七、書法比賽會場注意事項：(1)字帖.字典，不可帶入會場。
(2)落款部分不可拿已書寫好的樣本，作墊底來複製書寫。
(3)不可利用畫有格子之紙張在宣紙下面當作品格局用。但可自行佈局畫線等等皆可。
(4)繳卷時，試題與書法作品及參賽證一併繳回。
(5)比賽途中如有問題、請舉手發言、不可任意走動、以避免影響他人書寫。
Notification for calligraphy contest venue.
- Copybooks and dictionaries are not allowed to be brought into the venue.
- For the signature part, it is not allowed to use the written format as a base to write.
- Do not use the gridded paper on the rice paper as the layout of the work; however, you can arrange and draw lines by yourself.
- When completing the calligraphy artworks, the topic, artwork, and entry permission should be submitted together to our staff.
- If you have any problems during the contests, please raise your hand. Do not walk around the venue. It may influence others' writing.
There is no acceptance for the late registration.
